Our marketing people usually have their lunch together with a bunch of very verbal IT guys. Since one of the most common complaints have been how cold it can be in the server rooms, a solution has been presented, courtesy of the marketing department: Special server room jackets.
The final design of these jackets will come later, but they will all have printed slogans on them. These are some of the suggestions so far:
“We have a cool data center”
“Cool IT”
“Keep IT cool”
“Stay cool”
“Cool data center, cool staff”
(And yes, these slogans are most likely not what we will be using. We are fully aware of their cheesiness factor…)
