Apparently, we are in a constant state of pinging. Or addicted to the ping. At least according to the Urban Dictionary:
Looking up “pinging” in the same dictionary gives: “A state of increased anxious activity, typically induced by an amphetamine.”
Not exactly what we had in mind when we came up with the name Pingdom. On the other hand, we want Pingdom to be addictive, though perhaps not to the extent of amphetamines.
The only pinging going on here, except for the good old response time check, is induced by coffee, Jolt Cola and Red Bull. Not necessarily combined, but it happens.
