There are a lot of “Chief Something Officer” titles, such as CEO, CTO, CMO, and so on. But here is a new one: Mosso recently announced that they have hired a Chief Uptime Officer. A CUO!
Considering that we here at Pingdom are all about uptime, we LOVE the title. It’s the first time we’ve heard of it. Who got the position? A certain Bruce Runyan, who will focus on making sure that Mosso provides a reliable, consistent and scalable service (just as his title indicates).
Our CEO here at Pingdom is actually eyeing that CUO title with a small degree of envy at the moment. 🙂 He does have uptime on his mind.
