Comment on An open letter to Google: Please add a bookmarks sidebar to Chrome by Julia Janssens https://www.pingdom.com/blog/please-add-a-bookmarks-sidebar-to-chrome/#comment-857 Fri, 19 Jun 2020 10:23:28 +0000 http://royalpingdom.wpengine.com/?p=7551#comment-857 As translators, we need a TOOLBAR at the top of the screen. This enables us to jump in and out of dictionaries and documents and work with multiple screens for this purpose. At the same time, we need a SIDEBAR to store all our favourite videos, articles, etc. Now that we have switched to CHROME, we like the fact that passwords are saved automatically but we consider the loss of a ‘favourites’ SIDEBAR as a step backwards. My husband is 74 years old and is actually not pleased at all with the new system.
