To start, there would be lot of desktop/laptop users using Windows 8 too. Little surprised that they are mainly focusing on touch screen aspects of the OS. Could that slow the adoption process?

I personally am really excited for Win8. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now (was able to get the final RTM version early through Dreamspark), and I really like it. Definitely going to pick up a Surface at some stage. Just waiting to see what the price will be like on the Surface Pro.

In reply to Matteo Rossetti. @Matteo Rossetti the ipad is listed which is the only which matters anyway. Android tablets or any other dont really count for anything. the usage is too low. As for smartphones i dont think it would be a good comparison.

In reply to Matteo Rossetti. @Matteo Rossetti That wouldn't really work, since it's usage share (percentage) and not absolute numbers. It will be interesting, however, to track Windows 8 on desktop and mobile in the future.
