I don’t have time to read most of the people I follow. I’ve divided a lot of them up into lists and actually only am able to keep up with just one of those lists. Five lists I was trying to read weekly, but that hasn’t been possible lately.

So I’m usually Twitter a lot, but only routinely see tweets from about 200 sources. It’s become an extremely useful networking tool for me, but I am really only staying in regular touch with a relatively small group of people.

What continues to make it useful for me is that my primary interests are in media, music business, and marketing, and those industries attract some heavy users. If they all leave, so do I.

Nice data!
I do wonder how this correlates with users/active users. I have seen (unverified) data saying that Twitter is losing users. If this is correct it would mean that active users are becoming even more active.

Would love to see more data on users and activities on Twitter.

In the last two weeks I’ve hit nearly 750 tweets myself ( The Twinterview is causing some big jumps). Will be awesome to see more people using it by 2011.

I already use Twitter more often than I text. What will happen when all of my friends are on Twitter too?

twitter is already incredibly slow for me, certainly have to think about getting more servers out there with a lot of bandwidth if it will likely triple.
