It didn’t say Google owns the top 23 websites, it said that it owns 23 of the top 100 websites. You need to read/understand more carefully.

The FTC has escalated their investigation and complaint against google for monopoly practices after their last Penguin Algorythm change to their search engine. Google made changes to their algorithm so that sites that appeared on the top search results for decades would be deindexed (not appear at all) or devalued -move to lat pages of the internet. Instead Google rewarded any webmasters that were using Google services such as Adwords and Adsense. It alse began to place large corporate brand names on the top positions. This is not an exaggeration: Hundreds of Thousands of websites and their employees have been affected. Google has also involved in an antitrust lawsuit again none other than the law firm that won their case against Microsoft for AntiTrust violations. Google’s Matt Cutts and administration are not satisfied with owning 70% of all searches, they want a cut of 70% of all transactions. THis giant is interested in profits and only that. They are dishonorable and dishonest and I hope they get what is coming to them and soon. they have put tens of thousands of people out of work and you do not hear a peep on the news.
